

| Sam Gibboney, Principal & Founder • Engineering & Ecology • Sam has provided environmental project management services to government and nonprofit clients as an independent consultant since 2000 and has worked in the water policy arena for more than 15 years. She specializes in strategic planning and multi-stakeholder facilitation and has extensive training and experience in technical communication and dispute resolution. Sam’s science and engineering background coupled with her pragmatic, personable outlook enables her to effectively mediate between policy makers and their constituents. Sam has worked on numerous environmental restoration projects in the Northwest, providing construction administration, permit procurement, project funding procurement and financial management. Sam holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University and has her Engineer in Training (EIT) certification. Sam is also working toward her Masters in Public Administration at the University of Washington, Evan's School of Public Administration. Betsy Carlson, Associate • Environmental Education & Forestry • Betsy Carlson joined the firm in 2008 and brings nearly 20 years of environmental education and management experience. Betsy, an avid world traveler, has spent a number of years working abroad as an Environmental Education Consultant for the U.S. Peace Corps in countries such as Madagascar, Guam, Gabon and Senegal. Betsy has also worked for the Olympic National Park as an Outreach and Education Specialist, managing all aspects of the park's educational programs. With local and international experience, Betsy has tremendous insight for Environmental Education needs at home and abroad. Betsy holds a B.S. in Plant Science/Horticulture from the University of Delaware and a Masters of Environmental Studies with an emphasis on Forest Ecology from Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Amee Howard, Project Coordinator • Natural Science • Amee moved to Port Townsend from Southeast Alaska. In Alaska, she worked as the Coastal Monitoring Coordinator for the Sitka Tribe of Alaska. Since moving to Washington, Amee has worked for the Washington Department of Natural Resources, Aquatics Region. Amee brings a solid background in natural resource issues and technical expertise in mapping and GIS analysis. She is a wiz at research and problem solving. Amee holds a B.S in Natural Science, with minors in Geology and Environmental Studies. Rosanna Knill, Associate • Finance & Organic Farming • Rosanna Knill rounds out our team as business manager. With over 14 years of financial experience, she is the "go to" person for all questions financial. She has an organized, serene approach to bookkeeping, that keeps ISE Consultants on track and in the black. Besides keeping close track of all of our project’s financials, Rosanna also brings her passion for organic farming and her experience in working with rural populations and farmers as an organic produce wholesaler. |
